Dear Parents, Whānau, and Community,

Last week we had the privilege of welcoming one of New Zealand’s greats, Richie McCaw, to Nelson College. Richie spoke powerfully about the importance of resilience, values, hard work, social media, and being under pressure. One clear message was: success is not something that can be chased directly; it is the by-product of doing the right things consistently, staying focused, and showing determination—especially in the face of adversity. This message relates to all our young men in their pursuits— academically, in music, sport, and culturally.
