Nelson College and Nelson College for Girls will be holding a quiz night as part of our fundraising campaign for 2019 with all proceeds going to the Fifeshire Foundation. The event will be held at the Nelson College Hall on Thursday the 27th of June starting at 6:30 pm.
The Fifeshire Foundation was set up by a local group of people in 1993, as a charitable Trust to raise money locally to support local people in need. The Fifeshire Foundation has helped people in crisis and supported them make longer term changes in their lives.
We are encouraging all year 13’s to seek sponsorship on behalf of the quiz management team. We are seeking local companies who would be interested in sponsoring a table for the night. This would include some advertising for them on the table, and publicity through banners/flags at the event, and acknowledgements via our newsletter and notices, and on our website and Facebook page. We would also greatly appreciate things such as a donation of appropriate goods, which could be auctioned or sold on the night: or direct donations towards the event.
