Kia ora Nelson College Community
Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to those people in the Nelson College community – students, staff, Board members, Old Boys and parents, who have made my transition back into school leadership so positive and welcoming.
I left my last position as Head of School nearly 5 years ago and since that time I have been coaching and mentoring fellow Principals and aspiring Principals throughout the country.
It has been wonderful to have conversations with bright-eyed, enthuastic and talented young men again – I have missed these conversations and the College has every right to be proud of the graduates it is producing.
Over the next 6 months I plan to get to know as many people as possible and assist the school in the transition to a new Principal. There is no doubt that Nelson College has much to offer and much to be proud of – the future is going to offer even more exciting possibilities.
