Join us for an insightful and engaging Open Day at Nelson College, structured exclusively for prospective boarding students and their families. This is your opportunity to explore the heart of our boarding community, meet our dedicated staff, and get a first-hand experience of what it means to be a part of Nelson College.
9.30am Light refreshments and welcome. Enjoy a cuppa and meet our Principal Richard Washington as he gives you an overview of the College and introduces you to key staff members and students.
9.50am School Tour. Explore our extensive campus with Director of Boarding Simon Mardon and Rutherford Housemaster Mark Cochrane. See some classes in action and meet some of your future teachers.
10.40am Boarding Tour. Wander through our boarding houses, Rutherford and Barnicoat and get a feel for boarding school life.
11.30am Morning Tea and wrap up. Enjoy some morning tea in our dining room before you finish your morning at Nelson College.
